Minda Fernish began playing the piano when she was a child, and has loved making music ever since. She continued her lessons through high school, community college and Chico State, studying with many excellent teachers including Dr. Robert Bowman, Joyce Menke, and Sandra Wright. Music has always been a part of her life, from Peppermint Palace and the Enloe Follies, to accompanying church services and senior recitals. Whether playing solo or accompanying, music is magic. It’s a story. It can describe a setting, characters, feelings, emotions, and movement. Music is more than just learning notes and technique, it’s participation, practice and a passion!
