Lesson times will be kept year round.
Monthly tuition is calculated by adding up the number of lessons offered per year and divided equally into monthly payments
For the 2019-2020 school year there will be 10 payments due, September through June
For the 2020-2021 school year there will be 11 payments due, August through June
Payment of tuition reserves your assigned lesson time and includes all books, materials, recital costs, and National Piano Guild Audition fees. Your tuition also covers all of the background planning that your teacher does to prepare curriculum and performance opportunities.
Tuition may be paid by debit or credit card via automatic payments or scheduled bank transfers. A recurring payment form must be on file in order to be placed on my permanent schedule.
Tuition will remain the same through June, 2021
Due to holidays, students who attend lessons on Mondays will receive 5 fewer lessons per year therefore, Monday students will have lower tuition. Students who move from Monday to another day will revert to the standard tuition on the following month and vice-versa.
30 minute weekly lessons = $136.50/month
45 minute weekly lessons = $204.75/month

CORE, South Sutter and Inspire Charter schools
The Wright Keys agrees to invoice CORE, South Sutter or Inspire Charter schools for tuition. If funds for a student will not cover the full year, parents are required to have an automatic payment form on file to cover the shortfall. No lessons will be given until a PO is received.
Your tuition pays for your reserved time in the studio schedule throughout the year. Canceled lessons will not be refunded for any reason.
One make-up lesson is allowed per semester provided cancellation notice is given prior to 9 am on the lesson day
Students who qualify for a make-up can sign up online for any openings created by cancellations. Two make-up days/events will be scheduled per semester.
Students may discontinue lessons at any time with a two-week notice.
Students who do not attend lessons through June 2020 or resume August 10, 2020 may not get to keep their previous lesson time
Recitals and Performances
The Wright Keys offers several performance opportunities throughout the year including recitals and National Piano Guild Auditions. Planned performance opportunities for the 2019-2020 year include an October pizza/performance night, Christmas program, a formal recital in February, small group performance parties and a coffee shop night to conclude our year in June.
Student Drop-off and Pick-up
Students arriving late will not have their lesson time extended. Students arriving late by more than half of their lesson period will be considered absent.
Please do not drop off students more than 10 minutes prior to lesson time and pick them up promptly.
It is expected that everyone wait quietly. Do not disturb ongoing lessons.
If you need to speak to the teacher please do so during your student’s lesson time or arrange for a meeting/phone call later. Keeping these conversations within the designated lesson time avoids interfering with another student’s lesson time.
No student should attend lessons when sick (i.e. fever, nausea, vomiting, etc.) I reserve the right to dismiss a student from a scheduled lesson if the student arrives at that lesson exhibiting possible symptoms of illness. Students who are not well enough to attend lessons in person may opt for a Facetime or Skype lesson. Arrangements for Facetime/Skype lessons must be made by 8 am on the student’s lesson day.
Daily practice is required for lessons to be effective. I will work with each student to determine the amount of time appropriate for level and age.
The Wright Keys is not obligated to adjust teaching schedules to accommodate seasonal sports practices and games once the schedule has been set at the beginning of the term. The instructor may furnish a “swap list” to the student so they may attempt to switch lesson times with another student. Students who drop out due to sports conflicts are not guaranteed a spot when the season is over unless tuition is paid for the duration of the absence.
The Wright Keys reserves the right to dismiss a student if any of the following circumstances occur:
Failure to pay tuition on time
Lack of progress due to insufficient practice
